"After countless hours of searching for a company that does more than just bartending, I stumbled upon Top Shelf Events. We needed wait staff, bar staff, and cleanup crew for our wedding. Top Shelfs staff was better than I could have expected. Lauren planned the timeline perfectly from buffet setup, cocktail hour, folding up portable tables and more. When using more than 1 service she even included a coordinator(which was her) for free. Her staff did everything from keeping dirty plates off the tables and making sure water and tea goblets were full during dinner, the 3 waiters we had, did a PHENOMENAL job. When dinner was done we had to move ALL the tables out of the way to make room for the dance floor, we didn't have much luck with the weather and had to go to plan B, everything inside! They had everything organized and broken down within 20 minutes with time to spare. We also had 2 bartenders, although it was a simple bar they kept drinks full and flowing and didn't let anyone make a fool of themselves, or of us! By the end of night we had to be out of our venue by 11pm, the bar was shut down and organized and all the remaining wine and beer was boxed and ready to go. They even loaded it into my car at the end of the night. I got so many compliments on how smoothly everything ran and am so thankful I had Lauren to help me plan on the last minute details."

"I recently held an event for a company brand launch, and was fortunate to have Lauren & Top Shelf to help with it. With almost 150 people attending, Lauren ensured I had assistance with all the details in planning, such as food and beverage suggestions that were perfect. The event was well staffed and the 2 bartenders & 4 servers from Top Shelf gave excellent service. The nature of our event needed me to be free to mingle and entertain the guests, and I was concerned about being able to pull that off and ensure the event details went perfectly. I can honestly say that thanks to Lauren and her Top Shelf staff I was able to stay out of the event details and enjoy the event itself and time with our guests instead. When I first started looking for a bartender/service company for my ceremony, I called MANY places - but as soon as I reached out to Lauren - She got back to me ASAP on ALL my questions. So from there, I was sold and looked no further! She was very, very nice to work with and always assured me that everything was going to run smoothly - in which everything did run very smooth. Thanks to her and her team. The quality of work was above and beyond my expectations. They will definitely be number one on my list for any future event. They also help you figure out how much alcohol you need for the party, and place the order for you! So all you have to do is pick it up - or have it delivered. "I hired Lauren's service for an airbrush makeup application for my wedding. We agreed on a price that was to include myself and maid of honor with a trial run a week before. We kept in touch via e-mail throughout the process.
The makeup artist, Ashley, moved to town the day of the trial run. We agreed to perform the service at my house since she wasn't settled anywhere yet. She did give me the option of the venue location but that was not as convenient for either of us. She called to let me know she was running quite late (about an hour). But, she did come and was very apologetic. However, I was still very concerned about trusting her to not be late on the wedding day. She did a very nice job on the trial makeup and her personality led me to believe she'd be on time on my wedding day. The trial makeup application lasted all night. Two days prior to my wedding I sent Ashley a text reminder and she replied letting me know she'd be there. On the wedding day, Ashley sent me a text message saying she was in my area a half hour early and could be to my home early if I would like, or on time - my choice. I thought that was very nice. My wedding day makeup took about one hour for each person and I was very happy with the result. It lasted through the reception. I'd be happy to use Lauren's company, and/or Ashley again." -Donna |

" I couldn't be happier. After my last minute cancellation from another bar-tending company, Lauren called me that day and worked out all the details. Although she didn't work the event herself, her staff was professional and the life of the party. It could have been really disastrous had we let everyone serve their own drinks.
